I think one of the most unhinged ideas I’ve been workshopping in my head for the past 5 years is my Thomas and Friends human high school AU…😭🙃 It’s like, the engines are all reimagined as humans and their dynamics are all adapted for a high school setting. I won’t give a solid schedule, but this one will definitely be done before Jungle Fever. I’m hoping for some time next week, perhaps even earlier, but who knows. Anyway I hope fans of the twins are excited, I know I am. For those familiar with my OCs, which ones would you like to see stories from? As stated before, I’ll be using written stories to explore characters and worlds that (at least right now) don’t have a comic/drawing, so fire away and I’ll see if I have a story in mind already.

@nprofile…p9dl I know, I remember reading that stuff on there too, but apparently it’s not allowed. My guess is that those stories simply haven’t been caught or something, apparently they also have a “age of consent” rule in in regards to character ages too, and incest is excluded which knocks out the twins story automatically. I just don’t wanna post all my work on there only to have it taken down just because my story just so happened to catch the higher ups eye.

After taking a closer look at Wattpad’s TOS I’ve decided that my stories are just gonna be hosted on AO3. Not only does it not allow general smut (without a plot) a lot of things that would violate TOS are present in my two stories. Jungle Fever has a bit of a plot baked around the smut, but if you’ve seen the tags screenshot I posted for that story, you can tell that I’m writing that from a more horny POV. And the twins’ story is like 95% porn with 5% set up lol.

When it comes to art I tend to get into a solid, almost immovable routine when it comes to how I do things, but actually drawing and rendering more detail into my characters’ hair was a change I’m glad I made. It started with the Ollie drawing and I decided to carry it over. It’s more work to consider, but it really adds something. #wip

I think one of my best/favorite technical skills is characterization through facial expressions. One of the reasons I don’t typically do detailed character sheets is cuz 9 times out of 10, I’m gonna be drawing their faces “off model” anyway. #wip

@nprofile…2ugt I personally think your work is great, but if you really feel the need to mix it up a bit maybe experimenting with using an airbrush for base shadows and soft highlights. I like to start my process with going through with an airbrush, put down the initial shadows, switch to a hard brush for harder ones (use the same brush for the second set of hard shadows cuz I like two tone hard shading), then use the airbrush for highlights and a light brush for rim lights.

-colors for some reason I always envisioned Tank as mostly blue, however the yellow accent colors kinda came on a whim, as I decided to make him a hybrid halfway through sketching him. Also you can see in the art, but Tank does have a mix of carnivore and herbivore teeth.
