One of them was my childhood gameboy advance. The other one I got from a childhood friend who had it sitting in his closet and didn't want it anymore, the 3rd one was the same friends ex-girlfriend who sold her gameboy stuff to me for $50, and the last GBA I got was from a family friend who's kid had it in their attic and didn't want it so they gave it to me.

I don't own an SP anymore but i do have 3 modded AGB-001 systems that are backlit. I got a 4th console that's a motherboard only for the moment i just repaired I just need to get a screen and shell and buttons to make it work again.

I got mine with christmas money that relatives and my parents pooled in and got SM64DS with it. I kinda regretted early adopting it though because the thing had an insane game drought in 05 until Advance Wars Dual Strike came out that summer.

I remember earlier in the day walking by the library to another wing of the school and I saw a bunch of teachers sitting down on a bench watching a CRT TV on a cart and didn't pay mind to it and then later in the day they had an assembly telling us what happened. I remember it being a sunny day and being pissed because they made us have indoor recess and wouldn't explain why until we almost left for the day. Then I rode home on the bus and got pissed I couldn't watch afternoon cartoons on TV because they kept showing the same footage of a plane flying through a tower. I think to pass the time I was playing the Zelda Oracle games on my gameboy that I had recently gotten for my birthday. I stll have those carts but I lost the original boxing for them >_<

I found PS2 controllers of that generation are the biggest pain in the ass to disassemble and repair. Gamecube controlelrs felt the most easy going because the engineering design is intuitive and everything logically just falls into place.
PS2 pads are just a cluster fuck.

@npub1jma…0as2 I don't think this one was israel / palestine related he posted a manifesto online about mostly crypto and the NWO. I didn't read the manifesto someone else may have more info on it than I would.

There's a news story about a person who immolated themselves and no one made a crack about a "firey but mostly peaceful protest". Feeling kinda disappointed not gonna lie.
