French publishers raise legal threats over Apple's Distraction Control. Say it allows users to block copyrighted material & editorials, leading to.. misinformation? If user wants to block and can't, will they read?
Also complain it blocks consent walls and users removing those may cause sites to violate GDPR. Shouldn't the default be no cookies? That would prevent violation.
Also complain it blocks ads.
It's just weak F12 (or browser addon) on iOS. #Apple #Technology
