I would like to be able to give more to our local #PBS stations, we do $5 a month. I'd also love to be able to give to our NPR station.
#PBSPassport is awesome, though I don't actually use it much.

On the #Grog, it's been getting more and more difficult to find in stores. Had to purchase this last batch direct from Cameron's. We buy it 4x32oz at a time. 😉

I've already finished up, almost, the first 24oz cup of #coffee #today. Cameron's Coffee #HighlanderGrog for those keeping score.
Debating whether or not I want to take the four kiddo's (age range 5 to 12) to the local park of amusements which is about an hour away.
Tough call.

#today (and #yesterday as well) has been pretty well dedicated to trying to wrap my head around #nix and #NixOS. First, it was very foreign to me - but the more that I read and watch and digest it seems to start to make some sense. I like the idea of being able to keep things tidy and easily rebuildable - hopefully at some point in the near future I'll be able to make NixOS my daily system.

Every year where I work, we fill out #SelfEvaluation forms rating ourselves in all the standard areas from below expectations to exceeds and whatever. I generally try to rate myself as meets, though I do like to think that I exceed in some areas.
It's not like our raises depend on these things. (They don't, because we don't really get them.... Sigh) This year I decided to look through more of the "auto type" fill out options - and if I really were honest with myself, I have always rated myself too low.
Evidently my manager(s) think the same as well. Had the "go over the performance eval" meeting today, and while - again - it has no current bearing on pay, it's a strong assist should we ever actually get merit pay..... Because I'm an #ExceedsExpectations at my job!
There is nothing more satisfying than being told by your manager that they can definitely tell when you're out, and miss having you there.
#today was a good day.

Today I realized that I wasn't following the #today tag....and was going to add it to my list of saved searches/follows in friendica.
Then I looked and realized that it's kind of a busy tag. So maybe I'll do it #tomorrow.

I'd like to think that I am, but I suppose we all have our good and bad days.
Plus, they do say you're only as old as you feel, so that's all relative I guess. 😃

The little one had a really good first day! Even though it was only a half day, he said he had a lot of fun and made "a ton" of friends!
We are so glad that it went great today!
Now, #tomorrow is going to be really weird - all four of the kiddos will be in school... it'll be, #eerily #quiet.

#today my youngest kiddo starts his first day of kindergarten. It's going to be an interesting day, I'm anxious for him, I'm anxious for me.
