@npub147c…27uk Here's my thinking. Dogs are really good at smelling things, compared to humans. So anything that's got an amount of fragrance that's appropriate for a human (keeping in mind that some humans think scented candles are too much) might well be too potent for a dog.
Also I've read something about candles being bad for indoor air quality generally and I don't have a cite for that, but it was enough that I stopped burning candles.

@npub147c…27uk I anti-recommend Margaret Atwood because while her stuff is readable it's also just super depressing.
For uplifting, I like the Tiffany Aching sub-series of the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. They're from the end of his life and he had a whole lifetime of learning and growing to put into them. (The last one he didn't want published though because it's unfinished bc Alzheimers)
Richard Powers is like if someone took some New Yorker articles and turned them into a novel.

Then the heat of summer happened, and they sprouted. Their leaves open by day and close by night (if I remember correctly). It took me a while to figure out what I had planted!

I've got public health insurance, I tried going through regular PT and I'm in waiting mode (for over a year) to jump through a bunch more hoops to get a physical therapist. I will keep a look-out for a trained personal trainer!
In the meanwhile, got any good tips or resources you've learned from him that you'd like to share?
