OK So, the free game on Epic this week is Doki Doki Lit Club Plus...
Someone level with me, is this a pervy game?
I don't want to belittle the game or the devs. But I feel it's gonna turn into softcore hentai after I play it for a bit. Also the blurbs say psychological horror but feels like one of those dating sims?
I'm willing to give it a go if it is really good. But it makes me feel like no one should be looking at my screen while I play it...

@npub1nhw…g2sy I always think that at ANY point if I press a "main" button the on-screen char should jump or attack. Or, if I move the D-pad or joystick the character or view should move. And these things should be relatively risk free for the player.
And then there should be more complex mechanics hidden to "attack harder" or "jump farther".
Like have basic player agency be simple and up-front. Then have maximization of agency/actions something the player has to think about.
