@npub1qrq…jrm3 Really good article. Will be interested to see how you do with Dashlane. I currently use 1password and like the secret key conceptually. But, listening to your troubles trying to get passkeys to work, would be willing to pay the extra $$ for Dashlane if it could make all of this more secure. Richard is correct. These things are made by programmers not usability experts. Best ground level example on 1Password is form fills. Lastpass form fills just worked easily. 1Password not so much.

@npub1qrq…jrm3 The price turned out to be outstanding. It was $150 off and they gave me more than $200 for my Pixel 6a. So, I wound up paying marginally more than I would have for a middle of the road budget phone. Add 7 years of support (I've never had a phone actually last that long without needing an upgrade. 🙂 ) Easy decision.

@npub1qrq…jrm3 Nice review, Paul. I went one step lower and bought the Pixel 8 instead of the Pro. Like you I am really pleased. I don't have quite the camera needs you do so I was ok with the non Pro version but the 8's camera rocks just as it is. I was blown away by night pictures at Halloween. That photo algorithm is out of sight!

@npub1qrq…jrm3 I keep looking in on Vivaldi (several times over the last couple years) and going back to Brave. Based on your article, I'm trying again. The trick with Vivaldi for me is keeping things simple with all the choices. I think I've pretty much got it set for the way I like to work so we'll see. It is noticeably faster.

@npub1hvd…9sq9 You eventually run out of tears in a couple days. Then, they start checking in when the disposable cash runs out. 🙂 Doing it with my grandson has been a little easier but not as much as you would expect.

#[0] I guess that the operative word in that review is "handful" of Catholic bishops. Just like anything else,Catholics also range from ultra liberal to ultra conservative. It is probably safe to say that virtually all institutional churches are anti abortion and since they have that common cause with conservatives, people try to lump them together. As to gay/straight, the Pope is to the left of those groups but it will be a longer more difficult journey for that institution. Eventually..
