I just don’t think 280 characters is the place for it.
That sort of thing is a face-to-face discussion, and requires more listening than speaking.
There are reasonable people who can disagree and have intelligent discussions. But when everything is boiled down to quick jabs, all the nuance and empathy disappears.

@npub1jtm…rxtn I understand the belief that we need Twitter for our work, but I don’t think it’s OTT rhetoric to say “X” is now part of a propaganda system that serves the state (or will as of Jan).
Twitter used to be a liberal echo chamber. So let’s give the MAGA hats what they want: their own space where they can get all red-faced about wokism, far away from society.
The worst thing you can do to them is ignore them.
Delete Twitter.

Cancelled Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Now TV.
I mean, Dropout is literally the only thing I watch at the moment.
But I've got to keep TV+ for Slow Horses, and because it's the service with the best stuff at the moment.

I’m not digging this new trend of podcasts not balancing volume between people speaking. Personally I prefer all the words to be audible.
The latest to adopt this trend is Upgrade, which is usually produced to a pretty high standard.
Just a note for Overcast users: not everyone uses Overcast and Voice Boost, so you mustn’t export your project so it only sounds good with Marco’s error correction. You can and must do that yourself.
It’s the bare minimum requirement if a podcast editor.

I have a daily(ish) podcast experiment I'm playing with. Since episodes are typically only 1-2 minutes in length, it feels ripe for federation. (Actually it doesn't matter what the length is, but it feels in keeping with microblogging.)
