That'd be cool if it were true. Ironically the people insisting on using it like Augustine we're the KJV only people of their day. LXX Only arguments are basically parallel to it.

It doesn't, if we're talking about a single manuscript tradition. The earliest complete manuscripts come post-Hexapla, which means that there's no proof that Origen hadn't messed with it after trying to deal with disagreeing LXX manuscripts. Also the supposed legendary history is, uh, silly to say the least

The lecture or rejecting the masoretic text? Because the former is the standard party line, but the latter would be an untenable position (not that the MT is perfect by any stretch, but the LXX is worse in some ways)

So i listened to that guy's lecture and it was, uh, real bad. Completely switched the accountability regarding controversies from the leaders responsible for them to the people pointing it out. Tons of pilpul, sounds like the rabbis taught him quite a lot.
As for the "manchurian text," I've got no idea what that's about.

Me too! I used to be fat, now I'm skinny. Seems it takes a long time for that last half an inch of flab to go away. At least I'm shaped right.

Today's workout:
Five minutes weighted crunches (40lbs)
Five minutes Continental lift (40lbs)
Five pullups (strict form, doing them 5 times a week)
10 minute warmup
10 minutes stretching
20 minutes wrist and forearm workout
20 minutes kata practice
20 minutes hike work
3x55 seconds pushups
5 minutes twisting crunches
5 minutes Supermans
3x55 seconds air squats
20 minutes heavy bag work.
Since this was in three blocks throughout the day and most of my workouts are like that these days, that's why I've been posting them less often.
Anyway here's my son and me.
