Voted Green btw. The other choices were labour (graham stringer), tory, lib dem and reform. so with 4 right-wingers and green, it was no-brainer

I think the exit polls will tell a very different story to what's been in the media the last six weeks. Turnout will affect it a lot in my guess.

Oh I've been to St Peter Port without ever setting foot there. The Ferry that used to go from Weymouth called in there before continuing its journey to St Helier in Jersey. I think with the Seacat nowadays, they go a different route.

Blair who had his arse handed to him on a plate when he tried to stop trans rights in 2002 in the European Court of Human Rights (Goodwin v the UK). Not the best person to listen to. He was a crap politician who didn't dare mean real people either.

Does anybody remember Geocities? A brilliant service which offered free webpages to anybody who wanted one. It was totally ruined when Yahoo took over.
It was where I learned to code in HTML and where I hosted my first website (Pamela's Palace), and later hosted the first ever Mermaids website.
It was quite tricky at the time because HTML and web creation programmes were all geared towards Internet Explorer and I wanted it to be avialble cross-browser so led to some creativity in coding. A tiny bit of Javascript was later added to protect email from spambots.
Yahoo took over and then began the exodus. New Ts&Cs meant they wanted to own all content including photographs. They later withdrew that but added intrusive advertising which mean the top of the page was obscured no matter how much you included line breaks to try and move the header down to below the advertising.
A great resource destroyed by the big web.

You've got until midnight tonight to register to vote for the UK general election. Don't worry if you aren't close to your local elections office of your council, you can also do it online. If if you think you won't vote, get registered in case you change your mind. Just over two weeks to the election and any of the parties could have a major cock-up which makes you want to vote.
I know this general election is the most boring and unexciting in living memory but remember Peterloo, remember the suffragettes and spoil your paper if necessary - spoiled votes still have to be counted.
