I worry that I am going deep into confirmation bias but “AI as a grift to keep shareholders happy” is starting to feel really true.

I requested Facebook not use my stuff in training their ChatGepettos. Was told “we didn’t find your stuff in our training data so you can’t opt out going forward”
If not for my #magicthegathering hobby organizing itself via FB I would delete my account. :(

Many programmers hate XML because, just like testing, they don’t use validation and/or linting tools as part of their work flow. Stop making excuses and expand your tooling.
