He's be on my desk for a long time as I 1st worked you the courage to paint in the lava scales &2nd worked up the courage to paint the (admittedly subtle) OSL.

@npub1ddh…8a5v another thread revealed that Strike Force Justian shows precedent.
It's a bit hard to see but it shows marines retaining their original squad markings (both type and number).
They don't show a common campaign badge but that would definitely work.
My head cannon is that Squads have "sister squads" that they cross-train with for cases like this. And yea, they'd be from the same Company.

What would be the typical Squad Markings/Lore for an Intercessor Kill Team?
The Kill Team will often be 1/2 Normal 1/2 Assault Intercessors
That'd typically be from 2 diff Squads but you'd think a Kill Team sent on a special mission would have worked together frequently before
