For me your argument is "Musk is not a "fascist"", with which a lot of people disagree, not "I need X for work".
Musk owns X outright they are literally one and the same thing.

While I appreciate your thoughtfulness, those are all just reasons you are not doing the principled thing.
Maybe leaving X impacts a tech journalist more than me, I have no idea, that's not how principles work.
Musk is a fascist, we don't use fascist platforms.

The Court is not very transparent, I don't really get what goes on operationally. 38 corruption vacations is a lot!
Was Roberts wandering around for two decades like "has anyone seen Clarence?"
Did Roberts *think* anything about 38 corruption vacations? What, then just ignore it?

Yeah my particular solution - ram my way into threads and suggest that people use my instance - does not scale 😜 .
I maintain a suite of fedi apps because I am developing an ActivityPub app and it's a great test bed.
And I really, really dislike Google.
I am spending about $100/mo in cloud to operate the entire suite, it's not much if I actually get to finishing my app.

People "making a living making videos" on #youtube are simply making people watch #Google ads, we need to leave youtube.
I am happy to host (nice, friendly, non-commercial) content on my peertube site if it would help you or any of your followers.
