While on holiday in Poland (of all places) my 10yo middle daughter declared herself a #vegetarian. Nothing wrong with that. However, it came with a long list of stipulations about what she wouldn't eat. In the four weeks since, she has refused or half eaten and walked away from every meal I've served. In desperation, I signed up to HelloFresh to just send me veg dinners. Now I have three kids not eating their food. #fml #facedesk #widowhood

My wife's been in hospital for 4 out of the last 6 weeks. It's been hard on everyone. The kids are missing their mum.

My wife just fell victim to a One Time Password (OTP) scam.
Someone rang saying that they were from the phone company #EE and told her that she was eligible for a discount, she just needed to confirm a passcode sent to her phone. They knew her email address, name and telephone number. They were very pushy. She gave them the code and only saw later it was a change password code. #scam #socialEngineering 🧵

I found out this morning that my grandfather passed away last night - he was 95. I visited him in Poland last month and had a strong feeling that I was saying goodbye for the last time. Still makes it hard.

I am a keen skier - I've skied since I was about 3. Very soon there won't be anywhere to ski. Taking a flight to a ski field just makes it worse.
I took up #skateboarding as a substitute because I love the feeling of moving my body at speed through space. The fact that I can do it for free multiple times a week within 15 minutes of my house instead of spending thousands on a family trip is a massive bonus. #ClimateEmegency #grief #flightShame
