@npub1wuw…pjs5 They won't always sync or need to be in sync, but sometimes as features are added you might require specific versions of each in order to take advantage of the feature.

@npub1wuw…pjs5 Are you referring to the new position precision feature? If so, yes. You will need version 2.2.24 firmware for it to work.
