So there I am, backstage of the #dragoncon #cosplay contest, waiting with my partner for her turn.
Another cosplayer, who I have never met before, has a toy robot on her back that isn't working right, and frantically asks me to pull it off so she can look at it.
I do, and it immediately starts working, so I put it back on without doing anything else, like a minute before she walks on stage.
I just have Robot Fixing Vibes.

I learned recently that you can crack open used label maker tapes to see what's been printed on them. Here I have one that came with my label maker (which I bought used on ebay).
The last thing they printed was "i love you".
The first thing I did was label the nearest cat.

I hate how Torx screws have been mostly relegated to "tamper-proof" use (also, they're not, the drivers with the required hole in the middle are just as easy to find as those without).
It's so much better designed than hex sockets, especially for small sizes where it's easy to suddenly reform a hex driver or screw head or both into a poorly drawn circle.
Torx is the one true screw head.
