When I was 15 a big dumb guy in my school threw a metal pencil sharpener at me during class. It hit me in the side of my eye and smashed the jelly and gave me a cataract due to the blunt trauma. I have been slowly getting more and more blind in that eye ever since. This was now over half my life ago now, I have basically been half blind. My eye doesn't look any different, and there's enough vision in it that the other one fills in all the details.
I get the cataract removed in a few days.

The Fediverse has again shown to be the best social media platform for sharing music and raising money for charity projects as a creative. I'm just shy of half way to raising €100 selling my music on Faircamp/Bandcamp and that's in less than a day. If I get €100 or over I'll give half of what comes in - in the next week to the Irish Cancer Society in aid of cancer research. It's a cause close to my heart and it's nice to do something good with my music. Thank you!
