@npub1mc3…nkdg When I was learning programming on the Mac in the mid-nineties, one thing in particular I remember gave me trouble was handles. Most system calls would return to you a pointer to some data structure, but some were returning a handle, which was a pointer to a pointer, and that would confuse me. Turned out it was just a way for the OS to give you a reference to a structure in memory while being able to move it around for defragmentation.

The Android Netflix app: automatically starts playing a show without your consent if you navigate to it so you can just press Play when you’re ready.
Also the Android Netflix app: crashes on resume if you paused too soon after the beginning of the show.
