They take up the entire width of a regular car park. Visually they look like someone trying to be an imposing dickhead, and are as blatantly anti-environment as could be possible.
Just seeing them popping up all over the place.

One of the individuals from an external party at work was struck down with COVID.
They said "Our household has COVID. We thought it was gone, but apparently it's back".
So... now... I know there's a range of opinions about COVID and the various responses govt have taken. I don't want to restart those arguments.

So this morning Pippin and I were playing videogames on the couch at 5:30 AM, when we heard a loud band.
It was Fishing Kid clambering over the back fence.
Asked what he was doing, he froze for a period of approximately 7 seconds before saying "I went for a walk".
After much ridiculing by me ("Wow you look tired, must have been a big walk"), he owned up to going out with friend to ride E-Scooters around town at 2:00AM.

Ok... I'm gonna be a downer and say I'm pulling the plug on my Inktober contributions for the time being.
Unfortunately RSI/wrist issues are something I've got to manage during my day job. And I've been doing a lot of typing lately (including this toot!)
Adding in extra curricular activities... well it's all fine... till it's not.
And my wrist is telling me it's not... at least today.

Netflix is obliging my Slam Dunk obsession by offering up the 90s anime adaptation of the manga.
It’s much sillier in tone than the recent film, and I was laughing out loud frequently. Though the silliness is in the film too at times.
Classic 90s style hand drawn art is also soul food for me too.
I thought the film worked fine as an entry point with no background into the world, but the series is fleshing out characters that are only glimpsed in the movie.

I watched the first episode of the animated series ’Twilight Of The Gods’ and thought it was pretty good.

Ok so… I have been thinking a lot about the Gundaroo Drive duplication.
Started in Jan 2021, still going. It says it will be completed in 2024, but … maybe.
Am I being unreasonable in thinking 4 years to duplicate a stretch of road is a very long time?

There’s also flashes on intense stupidity in this plot.

I think the neighbours across the road are moving out.
I never really knew them, except that one time when they contacted me to say my outdoor cat (Momo) had been serenading their cat through their backyard windows.
This is not to be confused with the neighbour on *this* side of the road, where Momo crashed through their skylight in the middle of the night and infiltrated their house.
Totally different neighbours.

One thing I like about this show is the team are really bad at being stoic. They are always getting emotional about what’s happening. It’s kind of a constant theme and tension for the characters.

This week the various Marvel vs Capcom arcade games got a new life released as a collection.
People may not remember, but the Wii (of all consoles) was graced with a fighting game where Capcom characters faced off against superheroes of a different type…
