I'll tell you what though, I am fucking SICK of hearing about the US election.
If I'll say one good thing about UK politics, it's that our elections are announced and held quickly. Six weeks, start to finish. Four weeks too long in my view, but two months every four or five years.
US presidential elections are - literally - continuous. No sooner has the incumbent been sworn in than their opponents begin jostling to run against them in a couple of years.

Oh man, I remember those fires.
I was DJing on Queen Mary 2 at the time, and happened to be on the leg from Cape Town to Sydney, meaning a good half of the guests were Aussies. Considering how many of them were terrified about what was happening at home, they still made it one of the best times in that job, which spurred me to make sure every night in the club was a banger for them.

This afternoon I should, in theory, finally have the exit interview for the H&S course I sat the exams for a few weeks ago. The interview is to ascertain whether I asnwered the questions or whether I got someone else to do it for me. It should have been a couple of weeks back, but they were having technical issues.
Trouble is, I sat the exam three fucking weeks ago. I’m sat here looking at the answers I submitted and wondering who the smart guy was that wrote them.

Thought I'd see if I could get GamePass to run on my Mac.
Nope.
Turns out the app is written in such a way that requires it to hook into some system-level shit in Windows. And it's not compatible with ARM Windows, so I can't even run it through a virtual machine.

I just missed out on getting to hang out with Chris Difford for a few weeks.
He joined Queen Mary 2 for a few weeks, a week or two after I left it. He was running a songwriting course for guests. My mates who were still aboard maintained that he was Top Shit. #TOTP
