Yes, there’s no enclosure for them to reference. I’m not even sure they make sense within a liveItem.

They eventually switched to the `media:thumbnail` tag, but I proposed an enhancement to the `podcast:images` spec to cover use cases like that: https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/podcast-namespace/discussions/645

The Index will definitely have more than Apple, but I think the correct number is closer to 2.7 million shows in Apple’s directory. https://podcastindustryinsights.com/apple-podcasts-statistics/

After working with @npub1thg…zq23 to iterate his work on Events¹ and Radio², I decided to flesh out 2 other ideas I’d had: `podcast:storefront` for merch³ and a suggestion to improve `podcast:images`⁴. I’d love any feedback on GitHub!

If hosts can’t keep up with multiple values for the medium tag, then introducing a new one seems unlikely to solve anything for you.
I would imagine your current approach to identifying music casts is something like: "all shows with N+ valueTimeSplits pointing to remote items with the medium=music" What’s the downside to that approach?
