Nice thing about walking the dogs at dusk is when the tarantula hawks cruise by you can’t see them as well so you can just pretend you’re being buzzed by a large hummingbird.

yep that's what I went with. This is first assessment for a new provider, not first assessment *ever*.
It just requires a little extra thought, since at 52, a lot of the coping mechanisms *feel* like second nature.
I force myself to remember what happens if my rhythm gets interrupted for even a day.

Filling out the #ADHD assessment intake form for a new provider (because @npub1ky2…mum7 is heckin' on top of things thank you) and some of the questions are tricky.
Do I have problems being organized? Do I forget lots of things?
Not so much.

Saw a solid dark wasp with a body the size of my damn thumb just chilling on some flowers. I did not hang around.
Looked up “giant fucking black wasp Tucson” and learned this neighbor is the tarantula hawk wasp.
I’d heard of them and their uh special relationship with tarantulas. Let’s skip that bit.

Github a couple months ago:
"Use a passkey to sign in! No more password to remember!"
Okay sure. I don't even know my password anyways because of my password manager, but whatever.
Since then, every time I log in, some weird extra step has been required not involving "fill in password from password manager"
Just now I had to take a photo of a QR code on my phone so my phone would go to the URL so the response could be sent to my password manager so my browser could load the passkey from the password manager.
The people trying to kill the Internet have names, addresses, and apparently OKRs with metrics to game.
