Finally got around playing Vision Soft Reset, a metroidvania with time travel-ish mechanics (i.e., you don't only backtrack in different spots in the map, but also in different points in time, and you can rewind time a bit if you get hit for example). It's on Itch, Steam, Switch, PS4/5 and XBox One/Series.
The game's challenging, there aren't many boss battles (3-4 iirc?) but they're very good imo. Really liked the last 2 ones for different reasons
It's in pixel art so obviously I'd like it, but Oracle (the character you play as) is a bit too small on the screen. It wasn't an issue for me but I guess it can be for some people.
The story... kinda doesn't end, if that makes sense. I don't really like open-ended stories except if there's a sequel, and it doesn't seem there will be (the devs made another metroidvania, Moonlight Pulse (that I'd like to get) but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Vision Soft Reset apart from both being sci-fi). It's still good enough (not revolutionary but fun)
