I was hoping someone would dig up this stat. This event seems more likely to happen than we had thought before.
It is possible that it had happened before, but no one noticed. Maybe 100s of times in the past decade.
But regardless, it is still a good milestone to take note of. And we still have more work to do.
I'm an advocate of UBI. This will help children of poor families have a better chance at life .

0.0005% is not much. But there are many flights happening every day. It would only be a matter of time before the all-AA combination would happen.
I suspect that, even 20 years ago, the chances would have been much less.

I did some math. Given that 13% of the American population is African American, the odds of six randomly selected Americans would be Africa Americans is 0.13^6 = 4.8 E -6.
Or about 0.0005%. This crew would be hard to bring together in an egalitarian world. Given the discrimination still happening (preventing many African Americans from gaining the education to take on these occupation), the chances of this happening are even less.
Still a good milestone nonetheless.

I took a look. Cryptocurrencies are beyond me. I could not tell the difference between good and bad in this matter.

I took a quick look at the Wiki article. STV seems like a version of the Hare-Clark model used in Tasmania. But I will study the wiki article some more.
When I say "new way," we need to remove the political parties from democracy. Then we won't get so many "shit shows" trying to decide important things.

RCV would be an improvement. But it will still produce one side or the other getting their mandate with a slim majority. And who gets that slim majority (and gets to write history) often depends on the silliest of happenings during the election campaign.
We need a new way. A really new way.
