@npub1zwf…umln Speaking only for myself, I'll take the cocktail and skip watching the results. It drove D crazy when I went to bed roughly 11 PM on election night in 2016 saying "I'm not counting these ballots and the results are the same whether or not I'm glued to the TV. They'll be there in the morning."

BTW, do you have any more trips from Australia to the USA scheduled in the next few months? I want to buy some footy gear but international shipping is both slow and grossly expensive.
I am looking for an Australian to carry a package for me. I would send you a prepaid label that you could slap over the other. Then in US you can just hand it to the hotel front desk. It will be a couple of jerso, scarves and beanies so not much weight and pretty compressible.

Here is my prediction on the presidential race.
I am seeing a lot of "Wait until the next phase when the worse attacks/smears/lies come out" type posts. I think this is defeatism couched as pragmatism. My belief is that we've so many open lies and bullshit accusations that most voters are inoculated. They will come but they won't move the needle.

I completed the switch of my blog from #wordpress to #11ty this morning. It seems to be working so far. There may be weird lingering links to feed that still need to be redirected. Or maybe I'll just let them 404 and have the bots figure it out.
