I wonder how this has changed over time? When I went to college in the late seventies, a slight majority of the team were women and so was the principal.

But how can a small number of individuals, not working together in any way, be fascist? Surely the first test of fascism is collective action?
This is what I'm saying. Some of the things that change the future from here on in probably won't involve collective action, so collective action won't stop them.
Individuals cant be socialist or capitalist, only groups or systems can. So almost by definition #biohacking is not fascist, is it?

I'm not sure left and right are such good guides to understanding people any more.
Example: are transhumanists left or right? Is artificial intelligence a free market goal? Is plutocracy still capitalism?
Gradually the world is bending away from the left right axis. Do you not think? Surey if having a left or right position doesn't give you the answer to modern questions, it's not a real position?

I think in a lot of cases, it's picking the least worst option.
That's the real problem with the left. They won't play clever.
The Right will play to win, so for example they'll shift on abortion or play it down.
They still want to ban it but for the right, winning is more important than anything else.
That's why they keep winning, single mindedness.

It was decades before I realised I was morbidly sceptical, because of course the rest of the world has just the right amount of trust 😏
I remember in school thinking why does everyone believe each other.
But I still can't empathise with the conspiratorial idea.
"We don't trust our govt, but we have complete faith in this other random group of people we've never met."
How does that work?

It was a great game and the truth is, there wasn't much in it. If #Russo hadn't fumbled in front of goal, it could have been different, but that can happen to anyone. It was just bad luck.
To be honest, I think we're past the point where women's football has anything left to prove. It's only the #pay that has to catch up now.
Having said that, I'm being very #Western there. It's clearly not good enough the way things are for the #African teams.

It's an interesting fact that £1.99 to £2.99 is the best bargain range on the store. Most of the #freebies are not very good - except for #classics.
I got a short #history of #ireland in that range last year. Having that that, the battery on my #kindle isn't what it used to be so I use the #library more these days.
Do #authors get something every time we borrow their #books? I thought I read they did, but it may be a #myth for all I know.

I do still use #Inkscape most recently to create a company logo. I've seen people do amazingly creative work with it though. My recipient liked my logos but they weren't art :)

I did find 39C uncomfortable, but that was the only time.
Maybe it was psychological, because 35C was okay and that's only 4C away :)
Side issue - there's no degree key on this mini keyboard. I never noticed that before. It's a tiny bit annoying.

But at the same time many of the smaller networks will be effectively disconnected due to other changes in the pipeline.
It strikes me, the taste-makers aren't actually going to be able to move fast enough to get what they want here.
As soon as they get one thing, something else changes and they get a devils bargain.

I have to admit. I'm uneasy about any restrictions on protest. I can see the need for this, just as the UK Govt can see the need for climate protest restrictions around national infrastructure, but I'd really like different solutions in both cases.
