@npub1238…g63g you know that you‘re a very rare type of designer? At least where I live. The last UI designs for mobile apps I worked on (bank and insurance company) were definitely no mobile UI designs but web designs. The designers had no sense of mobile, iOS or Android… or that there‘s a difference. They didn’t know about screen resolution, etc

@npub1238…g63g yeah, you‘re right, the method of employment is irrelevant.
No, I think everybody is allowed to build apps. I just would wish that if a person develops an app, they would also educate themselves about UI „design“, only the basics. Just getting a basic knowledge about alignment, spacing, fonts, colors. „Design“ in quotes, because I know how big that keyword, how much knowledge, practice, etc it needs

@npub1238…g63g sure that‘s the ideal idea. But it‘s incredibly hard to find good UI/UX designers that are available to join a team. Sure it can be outsourced to freelancers…
But I‘m not talking about a full „designers“ sense but an eye for the details you mentioned: alignment, spacing, fonts, … what I‘m saying is: if you develop an app, you should be able to create a decent design/layout of the app

Great! It seems Xcode 16 broke Storyboard-References 🤯 Works with Xcode 15 but crashes when built with Xcode 16 because it doesn't take the bundle but tries in main bundle 😩

Slowly I‘m getting Swift package manager to work as it should. By using a combination of my „fix_spm_cache.sh“, deleting DerivedData, restarting Xcode, reset package cache and updating one or all packages 👌 or sometimes deleting Package.resolved

I manage to get into an endless loop a lot in SwiftUI. And I can't see how I did it or where it's happening. Just 90% CPU and UI doesn't react anymore...
This didn't happen in UIKit. And if it would, I could just debug it.
