@npub1h4u…cnpk Also, da sind einige Dinge wo ich dich korrigieren muss, Anonymität und Privatsphäre sind nicht das gleiche und nur weil DuckDuckGo sich als privat bezeichnet, heißt es nd das du es mit vollständiger reiner Anonymität einfach so nutzen kannst. Zum letzteren Punkt, hast du Einblick zu den Verträgen oder Beweise die das belegen können? Weil wenn das so wäre, würde DuckDuckGo ja illegal handeln, da es nicht in deren Datenschutzerklärung erwähnt wurde.

@npub1h4u…cnpk Inwiefern denkst du DuckDuckGo ist eine nicht so private Suchmaschine? Immerhin haben die mitunter die einer besten Datenerklärungem, funktionieren auch ohne Javascript und bieten eine .onion Adresse an die mehr Anonymität und Sicherheit bietet. Außerdem Monocles ne gute Alternative zu nennen ist nen Witz. MetaGer kann ich nicht beurteilen, Mojeek mangelts halt an der Qualität der Suchergebnisse.

- Also nutzt du es auschließlich dafür? Okay, aber reintheoretisch ist es ja extra Aufwand es zu deaktivieren und man hätte es ja auch einfach an lassen können, hätte ja nicht wirklich geschadet und du hättest auch gesehen wie gut deine Webseiten sich damit vertragen 🤔
- Ich denke nicht das diese paar Filterlisten von uBlock Origin, wo nicht einmal alle davon by default aktiviert sind das komplette Google Safebrowsing ersetzen können, aber okay, persönliche Preferenzen.
- Hab ich mir gedacht, allerdings hat das private Fenster mit Tor immer noch seine Daseinsberechtigung, aber ich denke Mal du hast keine Verwendung dafür.

@npub1276…uhkv Ja, das ist mir natürlich klar, aber Resist Fingerprint uncheck? (LibreWolf) oder auch Google Safebrowsing zu deaktivieren in Brave Desktop wobei es doch alles über die Brave Server läuft wie du auch weißt. Ich sehe da keine wirklichen Gründe sowas zutun (Ausnahme man fürchtet dass Google das Internet zensiert). Eine andere Sache, die aber eher eine Kleinigkeit ist, hat es spezielle Gründe das du "Privates Fenster mit Tor" explizit deaktivierst?
Btw. großes Lob das du ein Hinweis oben hingeschrieben hast, weil es hätte socherlich einigw gegeben die diese 1:1 kopiert hätten.

@npub1276…uhkv Hey, ich hab mir mal deine Konfigurationen angeschaut und bin sie durchgegangen, allerdings sind mir einige fragwürdige Einstellungen aufgefallen (die sich auf Sicherheits und Datenschutz beziehen), könnte der Grund dafür sein das diese Einstellungen eher persönliche Preferenzen sind, anstatt welche wo #Datenschutz und Sicherheit die erste Stelle einnimmt?

@npub17ut…rzd9 I'm excited as a european citizen that this finally change 👀 I have removed Edge from my system which made such links breaking since the, didn't wanted to open in Brave instead. But at the same time I feel sorry for the people who livw outside of the EU and the other mentioned countries, which get all their ways taken away to fix this and still have to live with this when they need to use Windows...
