The Split Kit allows you to import the valueTimeSplits into Sovereign Feeds. It also creates the chapters so you don't have to mess with json.

After I finish my show I go back through the audio and put the start times into each track. The Split Kit handles the length of each track.

Same here. Absolutely no one I know understands it. Granted I'm probably horrible at explaining it too.
I see v4v and streaming payments like I did streaming audio and video back in the late 1990s. I showed some TV network execs I could stream content, using Real Networks tech, from my house to my phone, even back then, and they poo pooed me.
They didn't get it.
30 years from now everything will be v4v.

The way I see it v4v is a necessary step at the beginning. There's no better way to make a trickle of money while a podcaster or musician are starting out. But, once they get to a certain level of quality and/or popularity v4v won't cut it.
There's a reason most products are not v4v. The percentage of people who pay voluntarily is tiny.
No Agenda is an outlier.

I have a second account for sats received from my IPFS node. But I don't pay much attention to it because the extension no longer allows me to be logged into two accounts. Plus, not much comes through that node. After I reinstalled the extension it seems that no longer works.

It was working fine for me connected to Alby. I disconnected it because I use Alby for a different purpose than my node. Like separate checking accounts.

I'm not sure I see the difference between a mint and custodial lightning.
A mint is a layer that sits on top of lightning, works like lightning, but transactions happen within the mint?
Is a mint is akin to a bank building? When inside you can move money around within the bank for free. But if you need to move it to a different bank or withdraw it (to lightning) you pay a small fee.
Is the vision for hosting companies and apps to be their own mints?

I didn't see how to find ably.com/node from any menu. I went to alby.com/connections (first pic) and also tried it from the "Connect a Wallet" drop down menu in the extension. (2nd pic).
Both those only connected as a separate wallet.

Because it shows up as a separate wallet I can't connect it to any apps. There's no login. I can send from my node to my normal Alby wallet to top up though.

When I connected my node to Alby using NWC it shows up as a separate wallet in Alby. Is that the way it's supposed to work?

When creating an account in truefans and activating the wallet for the first time the user is taken to an Alby signup page. Is that through Alby or through Alby Hub?
I'm compiling some instructions for joining truefans and want to make sure anyone I get to sign on doesn't get stopped because Alby won't let them join.

Got it connected!
The place to paste the pairing secret wasn't where I expected it to be. But I found it. Now it shows all my sats.
I don't actually have that much outgoing liquidity though. It will be interesting to see how this works. I emptied out my Alby wallet boosting The Retrograde!

"Closer to Somewhere" is my favorite track right now. It's been on repeat since it was released.
I'm also really liking "If 6 Was 4". But I've only had time for the one listen through. I really think it's a strong debut album.

Looks like you're missing the "customValue" attribute for your valueRecipient tag. Alby needs the address, customKey, and customValue. It looks like for your Alby account it's "wQPURij0TgzQZUEwqsew"

For the first track the feedGuid is not correct. When I look it up it should be 508bfb27-3623-513c-9eda-0b512a2abc82. The itemGuid looks right.
My guess it would be the same problem for the other tracks.
On Wavlake you have to pull the <podcast:guid> not the <feedGuid>. Counter intuitive but that's the way the GUID bounces.

The value:Recipient tags are missing the "type" attribute. I think that's a required attribute. Should be "type="node"

In looking at the RSS feed the first remoteItem has this as the itemGuid
itemGuid='Oncetold-20800218'
I've never seen an itemGuid like that. This is repeated 5 other times in the valueTimeSplit section of the feed. If the remoteItem Guid is not right could that cause the problem?

I'm about halfway through the last Podcasting 2.0 episode.
Did I hear correctly that Alby is not accepting payments in the United States unless it's Alby wallet to Alby wallet?
Is this why when trying to send sats from my Lightning node to Alby I'm getting the no route error?
