Mother just got a new car because the gas milage on the other cars she has cost them a lot of cash, so she needed a smaller car for work travel. You know its bad with gas prices when people are buying smaller cars just so they don't have to spend $70 every 3 or so days, at least, that's what my mother tells me.

Part of me thinks that #Mastodon attracts the most extreme people because other platforms would ban them otherwise. I like it but it is also a curse because people are simply too much sometime here on this platform. I'd sometimes rather deal with the public perception of normal people but that is more of a 20 or 30 percent desire than anything.
