Yes, "radical liberal" specifically means a liberal who has decided to adopt radical vibes but has not changed what they believe in any basic way. So for interest it's radlibs-as-anarchists saying people should vote or recommending government programs, radlibs-as-socialists who have no idea about anything to do with ownership or control of the means of production, etc. Because it's all based on vibes these people can be very personally nasty

Possibly off topic, but I don't see how Bluesky is a walled garden / silo to a greater degree than Mastodon is. They are both federated, they are both in practice controlled by a single entity, etc.

Like, I know, but consider the temptations: rather than academic "your book is a great success 10k people read it and someone seems to remember it a couple years later" you write a meaningless dissent and people quote it, imagine you sobbing for democracy, totally cast you as brave underclass hero or heroine somehow
