The #kicad -cli command is pretty neat (although it lacks better docs)
I can now generate a pdf of the schematic and board in around 20 seconds on sourcehut builds with it. It currently outputs 3 pdfs which are manually merged together to make a single build artifact.

@npub14ws…drhu @npub1xzp…x4fk hah I did the same thing. Using python in nano I think and writing an app from scratch right on the phone with pygtk. A level of productivity no other phone has hit since.
Maemo was not Qt based though, that was GTK2 :D

@npub1tfw…kym9 this is basically all readonly, I probably could've used tuples everywhere. No reason why this couldn't work on a dynamically sized list though, it's very simple code.
Here _notes and _intervals are both instances of this class

@npub1tfw…kym9 I'm trying to calculate music stuff, which is basically all shifting lists to do key changes and mode changes, so this produces lists that wrap around instead of giving indexerrors and allows easily getting the same list with an offset.

@npub15zx…nhvn I have some quite fancy cinema prime lenses that are a huge improvement over the cheap nikon primes. These are still perfectly sharp wide open. Downside is that they are manual focus and it's for MFT mount instead.

@npub16zu…9xwy I also still have a D70s somewhere, glad I'm no longer dealing with CF cards. I got the D750 some weeks back because the "old" DSLR gear is now being dumped by people switching to mirrorless.

@npub16zu…9xwy It's not even that modern, this is a 2014 camera. I have both the D3300 and the D750 which are from the same year, there's a huge difference in noise level between those two.

@npub14ws…drhu it works if you really want plain text log files, but that's not what I want.
For the phone usecase I care way less about the durability of the log output and I'd rather have in-memory logging that's written out occasionally.

@npub14ws…drhu RFC3164 syslog is quite bad yes, RFC5424 is great but it's not used that much.
Big upside is you can attach metadata to log lines. Such as message ids from the mailer daemons.
