There may even be a halfway house ... perhaps writing poetry for within a novel? But I guess that's a tiny market!
I tend to write micropoems on what I see, hear, feel in the moment, or inspired by words around me in RL. And I realised long ago that I write for me (or my output is sh!t).
So writing for me nomally, it would be a challenge to collaborate.

No, not really.
My books have yet to breakout of their solitary confinement in my head. So I'd have little to offer a collaboration other than proofreading.
But I have wondered whether collaborating on poems is a thing. And what it would be like assuming it's with friends.

this is particularly problematic for the elderly because the small print usually contracts you to send meter readings every month - even if you have no email or computer.
