@npub1f76…lzff I will answer this question in the way Jesus answered. When the adulterous woman was brought before Jesus he was reminded of the law. She was to be stoned to death. Instead of condemning the woman, and thus her actions, Jesus reminded the crowd that we are all sinners. In the end nobody stayed to condemn her. This question you asked is very similar to the adulterous woman. If I am to follow the example of Jesus, I must acknowledge my sin. I cannot cast a stone.

What Sammons does not say is that Catholicisim has already been transformed by its members who have voted. It is simply understood that Sammons has sour grapes that the vote did not go the way he wanted. Whenever we do not get our way we simply say that those grapes are sour.
