Yeah, FediFetcher uses the Missley API when fetching from Sharkey, because it’s mastodon api was/is too unreliable.
So, I got to admit that I doubt you’ll get it to work backfilling into Sharkey without modification.
But I think someone made a fork actually. Let me do some digging.

I'm interested in the environmental impact of ChatGPT.
Specifically, I'm interested in the impact of processing prompts (i.e. I'm not interested in the training impact - not because it doesn't matter, but because it isn't what I'm researching at the moment).
I assume these environmental impacts will be mostly water and energy consumption, as well as carbon emissions.
And I'm interested in numbers, backed by factual research, that I could quote.
Does anyone have any good sources on this?
My googleing leads me mostly to articles that essentially boil down to 'it's bad’ (which I know), ‘but we don't know how bad’ (which is understandable but not helpful to me at this time).

Working on FediFetcher might be somewhat addictive 🙈

I once again come to the conclusion that I hate gardening.
The fact that the previous owners of this house have planted not one, not two, but three big hedges doesn’t help.
And the fact that I have bad hay fever and an even worse back is the cherry on top …

re point 4 I must say that I always find this a bit ridiculous.
In many cases my excitement for a job is limited to ‘I have bills to pay. You have a job to do.’ And honestly I feel that should be OK.
It’s ok to do a job because it pays the bills, rather than because it’s exciting.
(To my boss - current or future: I love my job and am super excited about it of course!)

I’m not sure tbh. I’ve never tried to use it like that.
At work we have a paid plan, so aren’t constrained by those, and for my personal use I backup one sql database + file system through it.

Well, I've used it for a few years now 😆
Sadly, the support has declined a lot since the acquisition by DO (It used to be great before, when it was basically the founder answering all support queries).
But support is still functional, and honestly overall the app just works…

I use SnapShooter to backup to S3 / B2.
Rclone works really well if you got just files to backup, but SnapShooter includes conveniences such as a simple UI for things like DB backups, and notifications in case of problems.
