Regarding our vision of decentralization in the retail industry I want to make clear that small-shops.com was purposely designed as a centralized platform (centralization usually is much more efficient). But I hate the fact that retail is getting more and more dominated by big, international players (H&M, Zara, you name it).
This is why we are building a platform only for the small, sustainable ones. You can think of it as some sort of Etsy for small businesses.
Our definition of “small” is in line with the definition of the EU:
1. They must have less than 50 employees and a yearly revenue of less than 10 million €.

Shipping is handled by the shops, we just connect buyers and sellers.
Some of the shops do ship to the UK, in the checkout you can add an address and we will then calculate the shipping costs and availability.
A profile is needed so you just have to add your address ones. Also it helps us suggest relevant products.
Even though the marketplace is already live and functional, I would like to note, that it’s still a wip and we encourage improvement proposals 🤓

The only reason I would ever own gold is to prepare for huge economic crisis followed by war and mass electricity shortages.
in this case I can’t do shit with stocks (goldminer), gold bars or even Bitcoin.
One needs weapons, water, food and tiny gold coins for trade.
For every scenario thats less dramatic, Bitcoin works best.
In no scenario at all, gold bars are of any use.
