I didn’t see you as a woman on the internet, but as someone sharing a provocative piece of news, boosted by someone who I respected.
It’s on that basis I felt that strong claims need attribution.
More so given that the topic was about American propaganda — and having a culture where we can honestly talk to each other seems important. It’s what real friends do, and I strive for that.

I genuinely don’t mean to pick on you personally! I just thought it was ironic, considering the subject matter.
Dealing with propaganda needs critical thinking and nuance, not just posting whatever viral thing that confirms our biases. We need to reserve the capacity to say that we’re not sure, or to call our inadequate sources - as we both did to each other. That is good.
I also think it needs kindness. I hope you feel some, through the internet

@npub1mmf…eknq it’s good to cite sources. That’s a big part of how we deal with propaganda. The onus of citing sources should primarily be on the person making the claim.
Just because it has the sound of truthiness, doesn’t mean that it’s true.
As far as I can tell, this is just a TikTok meme.
