Started to play with Sections in Home Assistant and I love it. Thanks to @npub1x5w…jsw2 and the team at @npub1e0l…mnff for this release. Some examples. Please read the alt text. The MacBook Air version would still have room for a 4th column, but it seems I am limited to three. Hopefully that can change or I am wrong.
I believe this is just the start. I can't wait for the next released. I have always found dashboard very frustrating.

@npub19lt…qfjk My plugs have arrived. I decided to add them directly to Home Assistant. I want to see if they stay online unlike the Eve plugs. I think I add those via HomeKit, but I can't remember. I can see the Meross in the Home app as HomeKit Bridge published it.

@npub19lt…qfjk Looking forward to testing mine. My Eve Matter plugs randomly fall of the network. One can be fine while the the other is off. Then it comes back and then both go off. Very odd. Restarting some of the HomePods seems to help. This just adds more questions. There is an AppleTV much close and I would expect that to be the border router.

I am still thinking about a heat pump, but concerned it will suck up too much battery and I will end up paying more as the battery will be flatten quicker.

@npub19lt…qfjk I do my accounts in a funny way. I will still take the direct debit cost out on my side, and then be happily surprised when it is less 😀. I wanted to wait a year until I knew what the bills would be like in the winter.
The gas is a daily rate. The max is 30p and it can take 2 weeks to get of it. You can’t go back for 9 months. I assume gas is the most volatile price, so might not be a good idea.

I need to do some research on the Octopus Gas Tracker tariff. It seems to be half the price of the standard gas tariff. Anyone else on it?
I have suddenly realised I should be paying by variable direct debit. You get all the benefits of paying by direct debit without having a fixed amount. I have left my direct debit fixed to my pre solar panel and battery level. I have claimed £1900 in credit this year.

Sorry for a silly question. I am using #PyCharm to write some Python scripts. If I run the script using current file, my breakpoints work. If I use a configuration file they do not. I have tried to compare the configuration to others I have used in the past and I can't see what I have missed.
I have never had this issue before. I am on a Mac.

The plan worked well yesterday. Top up overnight (Tuesday) to make sure the battery was well charged and the solar would fully charge it quickly in the morning. Export as soon as we could and hopefully recoup some of the overnight charge.
Making sure the battery was ready for the high #OctopusAgile slots. In the end made 8p 😀

Anyone else using the Octopus Energy integration in @npub1e0l…mnff? Should it look like this? I am not sure if I should uninstall it and set it up again. It does seem to be working. I don’t want to break it for no reason.
Should those entities be disabled. I assume I should have no red entities either.
