France is the land of rare meat, although coastal France has great seafood traditions. I'm in Spain where Pork rules but selections of cheeses are good and fresh fish and vegetarian produce bountiful. I eat fish where I can but as a vegan, that's not a desirable option for you either.

I absolutely agree with you on food.
Food is only one dimension of living beyond the resource limits of the planet.
Western native populations are actually on decline with falling birth rates of variety of reasons.
The balance of ethnicity is changing but overall population growth is not sustainable.

We are on the brink of elimination of the need for fossil fuels for travel, heat and cooling.
The needs of the consumer society will, however, outstrip the benefits accrued .
We are a few billion people on the heavy side sadly. That's being worked on, plague, war, engineered starvation or all three will take care of that soon.

I agree with this. It's a noble gesture but sadly in vain. I have done my bit over the last 10 years or so and if only for the sake of some level of amelioration, I will continue.

Well what we have certainly isn't working well, France now, Belgium and Germany, even the EU.
The UK and US in near chaos with flip-flop Duopoly politics of tired and inappropriate ideology.
Past time to ditch the game of faux left, right and it's associations.

Absolutely agree, I think it's time we leaderships and election of such. Globally it seems that democracy is failing everyone. We need hybrid Governments of professionals and educated policy makers with draconian standards and values to govern limits of policy.

Biden may have a team but the leader is pivotal.
Biden is not fit for purpose, it's ludicrous and an abuse of him and the Nation to believe he can still lead.
It won't happen, it's a gross error of National judgement.

Biden is over, Trump the default replacement. The problem with democratic freedom choice is the people, the electorate, the tribal masses.
We are right back where we were almost 15 years ago and the same is true of Britain. We don't choose as there is no choice. Western Establishment unhooked from Society long ago and steamed away leaving the carriages to crash down the hill. The UK and US are leading the pack on this, as ever.
