I can't help but appreciate the lesson ordinals have taught folx (whether they realize it or not) about how protocol changes can have unintended consequences. Remember how every retard with a laser-eye pfp on twitter was all about signaling for taproot, without having even read the BIP or understanding what it would do. I feel sorry for the folks that just load whatever bloated distro-of-the-month is being ballyhooed about. It literally takes me 1-2 hours to sit down and build a Gentoo with the exact drivers I need and naught else, and have it just work. But hey, provides me plenty of work troubleshooting for other folks that have every single driver but the one they need shipped in the LTS they are using. 🤣

Raedon drivers seem to work good for me in OpenBSD 7.x - though I suppose individual mileage may vary. Linux seems hell bent on traveling down the hipsterlang path, with all it's associated braindamage - if continues I see it as no better than just using Windows.
For now I can still build a kernel with `CONFIG_RUST=no` and bootstrap a system from naught, will continue to use on daily driver until that ain't the case.
