if the onboarding is for a new account and the user decided to create a wallet we ease the steps for him by linking the wallet directly so he can start receiving zaps immediately because the steps are way confusing for normies. IF NOT, nothing will changed at least thats the behavior we tested, however it seems that mr. pattern in here is partially reporting cases where we don’t know exactly what he did. No need for the grudge in here.

Which OS and Browser you are using ? Just tested it out with Firefox on MacOS it's working fine

Also another thing, double check if your wallet is linked with your account or not, by default on the account creation when you create a wallet we link it directly to your account, but you can open the wallets menu and check if the wallet is linked or link it. We are using Alby as a main provider, for the wallet address issue, we don't the issue is from us because the NWC of the connected wallet already has getalby relay and the related lud16 which makes the wallet recognizable. However, we will look into it.
One more thing, could you let us know which apps you used to find out this ?
