Alright, yet another Android clunky POC ready to be broken by you. I call it Nestr (you can propose new names!) and it's basically a web browser connected to Amber.
That means you can visit nostr web-apps on your android, use them like native Apps (or that's the WIP plan) and login with Amber as the Alby/nos2x.

I can share some firstt classic "idiot user" experience I had.
When I created the Poll for the group, I noticed I was redirected to another tab for it but didn't quite get that I had to share it to the group. I thought it was already being shared on the chat.
Maybe you can include an extra button or step to share it to the group chat during the creation flow.

Every coordinator is an independent server hosting their own orders, and if you want to know the orders hosted by coordinator X you need to do a call to its API (actually 2). There are 4 active coordinators today, but nothing stops that number to be 100. You can see the API method doesn't scale up if you want to see the global orders book.
With nostr, every coordinator runs its own relay on a way that continuously synchronizes with the rest, so all relays hosts all active orders. On this sceneraio a client only requires to connect to 2-3 random coordinator relays to have access to the entire global book.

Robots are disposable and every robot can have its own unique npub
In the other hand, if you use your primate npub, you loose the exact same privacy against your coordinators than using Telegram notifications. For everyone else listening, they will only see that you received a gift wrapped event (NIP-59), with no extra meta data.

I can't imagine an explanation for that, only thing I can say is that maybe the reply is not available on your inbox relays, and when you send a reply to it, your inbox relay tries to find the note in other relays and make it avaibake for you on that moment

I absolutelly confirm I'm terrible with UX and I ALWAYS desperately need help on that area for my apps because I consider it totally away from my expertise.
But on my experience with Nostros, Robosats and now Pokey, it's really hard close to impossible to find people with knowledge and time on that area willing to participate.

The Robosats coordinator @nprofile…kyj4 will be back online tomorrow.
Just a reminder.
2 years ago, when there was only 1 centralized server, a similar issue happened and Robosats was completely down for 2 weeks.
This time, thanks to the federation, robots just continued trading their precious sats with no major issues.
Decentralization by default is the way. Great job coordinators!!

So far I'm identifying in a DB relay url and kind where it came from. So it should be fairly easy to keep track of all this.
About sending events, what about configure Pokey to listed for external broadcasting and push received events to defined relays?
Pokey can act as a proxy for apps. Including a built-in Tor engine that can potentially provide Tor access to any nostr app out there.

I called it "Pull Notifications" because I consider it more accurate, but it's more like a joke 😁

The code is pretty much simple. I would say it's really trivial copy & paste it in other apps associated to an exposed API.
For Nostr and WS, it will require the extra work of implementing WS handling, but nothing crazy to be honest.
I had plans to implement it once Robosats starts heavily using Nostr notes for its features.

Anyways I recall thinking on an idividual notidications app while working on Nostros. It doesn't have to be centralized somewhere, it's just a listener in your phone that pings your notifications center where there is a match.
