Anyone in my circles that has a direct contact with someone from Shopify that could help us understand TOS around payment plugins?
It seems they've been written from a perspective of traditional payment gateways, but @BtcpayServer does not have fees, and is not an intermediary.
We are trying to put an app where BTCPay users can connect their BTCPay and accept payments directly
These requirements aren't future looking enough and don't take this case into consideration.

Just a correction on what has been sent on RHR podcast about Stratum V2.
Upgrading firmware is absolutely not a requirement to use SV2.
A translation proxy exists for years which allows miners with SV1 to use SV2.

Start contributing to an open-source project that you use in your spare time, do small janitorial work, most new FOSS need help with basics: documentation, support, marketing, strategy, as you get merits and learn technical side of the project you can take over release management, etc etc

We’re working hard on the next update for StratumV2 SRI (Stratum Reference Implementation). The software will finally be available for immediate use and in place for pools to adopt it.
The specs are finally in place and the software is finally following it. A lot of refactoring and changes to the stack will allow flexibility.

Hope this helps. But it's important to join a community, start with a bitcoin open-source project you like, it can be something simple, favorite wallet, and join community, try to learn by experimenting and being useufl, tackling good first issues on GitHub.
It's a learning curve, but it's really exciting.

We've managed to get complete dentures for 39 elderly patients and preventive checkups for ~50 children so far.

In case someone wants to locally test Stratum V2, re-wrote quick doc on how to run local CPU SV1 miner connecting to a Translation Proxy which translates the messages and connects to self-hosted or hosted SV2 Pool. It's really easy and cool.
