When I was very young I was pretty nihlistic and got reeeeely into Peak Oil & in the end I learned:
Societal inertia + human innovation will stave off the apocalypse far longer than any of us deserve.
When I found Bitcoin, it felt like that grudgingly optimistic take had been made manifest.
It is best to be prepared, don't get me wrong!
But I think we are probably going to make it in the long run.

Ever find a book/audio books so good that you lose touch with reality in order to get all the way to the end?
It happened to me this weekend, but it wasn't because the book was so good, it was that I was running away from my life.
Gotta watch out for footguns like that. Resentment is the assassin of growth and I believe that growth is why we are all here in the first place.
Time to downshift and focus on completing one task at a time.
Remember your values and be able to trace every action back to them through your goals.

So I bought a NerdMiner board but I gave up, so I bought diff model. With the exp of setting up the 2nd one I learned what I did wrong the first time. Then I bought a Bitaxe and saw my hash rate curve flatten my old hash down into a straight line.
Now I have 3 miners and am addicted to increasing my hash rate. I'm not ready for a BitBox but I think maybe an old S9 in a homemade immersion rig connected to my home heating system.
