UPDATE: having a conference call with Habitat LA Monday. Making sure they have leadership, finance, social media & web staff present so we can move fast.
For Nostr I intend to get them set up on
primal (npub12vk…pugg) due to ease of use and integrated wallet, but I am worried if a nonprofit can legally use this. Also worried about wallet stability.

We have ~51.5k sats to send them already as soon as they are set up on lightning. Thank you big boosters

https://www.thegivingblock.com) to receive multi-crypto, since other chapters of Habitat are already set up there. Regardless of opinions on that platform, still a huge opportunity to show them BTC+Nostr is the way. I will inquire if Giving Block can give them a lightning wallet for Nostr too. I’m sure this hasn’t been done before but would be epic for them to set the bar here…

I am in contact with Habitat Los Angeles leadership and going to be talking to them about setting up a Lightning wallet for donations, and hopefully getting their social media team on Nostr too to collect zaps.
This is a huge win win opportunity for this community: showcase the power of Nostr for charity, and get a chance to spread freedom tech in the process.
