"content": "Right, the “appearance of age” thing. Positing billions of years offers a possible explanation, but not the only one - and today’s common interpretation of that data is a probability assessment rather than any “proof”. I grew up with modern secular hard sciences as my ”religion” so I’m intimately familiar with it - but while it appears to explain some things better, it comes at great cost to other things.",
