Recently a friend on artist residency recommended a book The Zen of Creativity by John Daido Loori. Am not at all religious or spiritual and am quite outspoken and am politically angry so was surprised at how interesting this was. One section mentions the still point - only the now exists, don't worry about the past or what is to come, forget those who annoy you or the politics of the day. Instead try to listen without analysing what we hear. Very interesting read if anyone interested.
