I know I am repeating myself but if ads had never gotten so intrusive back in them olden days when Futurama did a gag on it even, adblockers would not even be a thing.
People had no problem navigating a page with a top banner and a bottom banner, both clearly adspaces like in the newspapers, so no "pretending to be articles" either.
Also if there were no trackers, there are still pages I would turn off the adblocker on to support. But since you also have to disable tracking... no.
