Completely the opposite for me. The Linux desktop is infinitely better for me today than it was 20 years ago.
We will never agree on this, and that's fine. I do understand where you're.coming from, though - the Linux desktop has definitely become more complex and less... Grokable? I can totally understand how you and others regard that as "worse".
