"content": "Later, a big RV pulled up next to us. The nice folks inside told us there was no going back due to road closings. They gave us water and invited us for dinner. It was very good!\n\nDuring the meal, two high-water rescues were made for people who tried to cross the floodwaters.\n\nWe settled in for the night in our small car. Another rescue occurred. About 1 AM, though, flashing police cars signaled the road was clear.
